Tell Me About Life Sciences Research We're here to help you learn about the use of animals in science and understand the future of alternatives to animal use. In these pages you can learn about the historical basis and the future of biomedical research and product safety testing that benefits humans and animals. We also feature info about outstanding contributions to medicine and science made by researchers right here in Ohio.
Just the Facts About Animal Research This is a section that kids and adults will find useful. Take a virtual tour of a research facility, learn about the history of animals in research, hear from people who care for lab animals, and get an overview of the laws and regulations that apply to animals used in research.
Reference Library OSERA's Reference Library is a directory of links. Some are to anatomical and zoological sites; others are to organizations that can help you understand the role animals play in basic and medical research; still others are to government sites that provide information on the regulation of animal research.
