OSERA has developed a Speakers Bureau that can share with your group the latest breakthroughs in research and the challenges facing the scientific and medical community today.
Groups can request topics that include specific areas of research such as pharmaceutical, surgical, and most diseases caused by accident or injury. Perhaps your audience would like a presentation about how a body part or function works in a healthy individual. Our speakers can also provide information about the responsible use of animals in biomedical research and efforts to reduce the numbers of animals needed.
OSERA speakers are professionals who work and live in Ohio. Each speaker is an expert who can talk about science on all levels.
OSERA audiences include community groups, business groups, school groups, civic and church organizations, professional societies, employees, retirees and other special interest groups.
As a non-profit scientific education association, OSERA provides this valuable resource at no cost to Ohio organizations. Our primary interest is continuing education of Ohio's public, fostering a better, updated understanding of how responsible animal research and instructional programs will remain essential until scientifically valid alternatives are developed.
